Mr Kraft is here to take flight. Through comic mishaps and moments of poetic elevation, he carries us along with his fierce appetite for life.

This performance grew out of a desire to celebrate life. It is a cathartic moment in which we choose to summon the inanimate world in order to rekindle the embers of the living.

Through the distance that puppetry creates from reality, we immerse ourselves in humour and provocation. The performance reveals the contradictions running through our character and presents a society that is losing its sense of meaning. It also seeks a reconciliation with life in all its nuances and emotions.

Our character, Mr Kraft, bursts into the public square like a gust of wind, eager to connect with you.

His sheer size, his ability to come apart and his eloquence make him an embodiment of excess. He is sensitive, fragile and ephemeral matter. He is a body that has barely emerged from raw material. He erupts like a cry.

Radiating emotion, irony and humanity, he comes to reignite our inner fires, question our disillusionment and invite us to embrace our wildest impulses.
